Operations Coordinator
Position: Full-Time Operations Coordinator (Exempt)
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience. The organization may consider hiring at a Manager Level for highly experienced candidates.

Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator’s primary responsibility is the overall day-to-day functions of the organization including the Organizational Development and Management, Human Resources, Fundraising and Financial Management. This position works very closely with the Executive Director on programmatic and organizational strategies.
Finances
- Processes checks, invoices, reimbursements, and contract payments.
- Updates budgets and creates financial reports.
- Implements and trains on Tides policies for personnel, fiscal, and other matters.
- Coordinates infrastructural needs (including I/T).
Office Management
- Coordinate general office use and administrative needs, working with Administrative/Program Assistant.
Infrastructure and Systems
- Ensures all organizational functions and systems are in place to support programs and all other functions of the organization.
- Ensure maintenance of security protocols of the staff, program, computers, servers and network.
- Oversee data systems and management, lead/facilitate the strategic development of data collection and management projects in partnership with the Program staff.
- Oversee new contact management system implementation and staff training for base building and fundraising contacts.
- Manage relationship with tech consultants for additional support, repairs and system backup.
Human Resources
- Supports in addressing staff HR needs on an individual and all staff level, alongside Managing Director.
- Coordinates employee benefits and compensation with Tides Center (fiscal sponsor).
- Ensures all staff, contract positions and volunteers have completed appropriate documentation in relationship with their roles.
Grants and Contracts
- Responsible for monthly contract reporting. Coordinates with staff to maintain timely and accurate reporting on programs and grant deliverables.
- Supports in representing AROC at networks and coalitions as pertaining to collaborative contracts.
- Works with Development Manager and Executive Director to provide information and reports necessary for fundraising.
- Develop and train other staff on grant and contract deliverables tracking systems.
- Supports in the tracking of financial expenditures for grants and contracts.
Communications
- Assist in communications/media needs of the organization.
Experience & Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years experience in operations, admin, or program coordination.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience and knowledge of community-based organizing principles.
- Grants management, reporting and financial processing experience.
- Human Resources or benefits knowledge.
- Proficient in basic data and project management tools.
- Required: Strong oral and written communication in English.
- Strongly preferred but not required: Oral and written communication in Arabic.
- Strong commitment to social and racial justice.
- Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Contact Management Systems.
